7 persons who had been arrested during June 21 demonstration in Thessaloniki
and accused for felony charges were imprisoned today, according to
interogator and public prosecutor's decision.
They are 2 Spanish, 1 English, 1 Syrian political refugee living in Greece
and 3 Greeks.

The French boy and Italian girl who got arrested on Sunday after the police
attacked the solidarity demo outside the courthouse, went to trial today and
they were convicted to 2 years imprisonment with 3 years parole, for
possession of weapons. They have to pay a fine of 3.000 euros and they are
expected to be released tomorrow morning after the money is deposited.

Can someone confirm for us, the contradiction between being convicted and,
paying a fine and being released (brighton abc, being stupid & english). Also
