19 :35 Situation at the University : At least 30 people have been arrested by police in connection with street fights close to the Philosophical faculty. The police are using massive amounts of tear gas against the activists. The University's magistrate are considering to let the police arrest people in the University's grounds, something the police does not have permission to do.

19.25 Thessaloniki, Greece: A member of the secret police is beaten up inside the University. According to declarations for La Haine from a demonstrator, at around 19.00, a group of activists recognized a member of the secret police next to the Indymedia building. The infiltrated agent was beaten up during several minutes, until other demonstrators arrived and manage to mediate and stopp the beatings. The secret agent has been taken to the Medical team for care. The University continues to be surrounded by the police, in particular the side facing the city centre. The protesters have closed the university entrance and there is still some people throughing stones from the university building. The police, located approx 50 metersaway from the entrance, hasstop firing teargas.
The Legal team informs: there are street fights and clashes between Melinki street and the University building which hosts the Philosophy department, and have received information that the head of the MAT. (special police forces) has said that the anti riot police hacve stopped firing teargas as they have run out of gas and must get reinforcements of teargas supplies.

Según declaraciones para La Haine de un manifestante, hacia las 19 horas un grupo de activistas ha reconocido a un policía secreta junto al edificio de Indymedia. El agente infiltrado ha sido apaleado duramente durante varios minutos hasta que otros manifestantes, tras mediar y conseguir que cesaran los golpes, se lo han llevado al Equipo Médico para que lo atendieran.
La universidad sigue cercada por la policía, especialmente del lado que da hacia el centro de la ciudad. Los manifestantes han cerrado las puertas y algunos siguen lanzando piedras desde dentro. La policía, situada a unos 50 metros de las puertas, ha dejado de lanzar gases. El Equipo Legal informa que hay luchas callejeras entre la calle Melinki y el edificio de la universidad de filosofia, y que ha oido que el jefe de la MAT (fuerzas especiales de la policia) ha dicho que los antidisturbios han dejado de lanzar gas lacrimogeno "porque se les ha acabado y tienen que ir a por más".
