Establishing a working group to help create a Sheffield Social Forum

First meeting of the campaign for a Sheffield Social Forum (or whatever we decide to call ourselves!)

July 3rd 7.30pm
Friends meeting house St James Street
Sheffield

If you are a member of a group and want to come as a delegate then that is great, if you just want to come in a personal capacity or as an individual that is great too.

This is only a prepatory meeting to discuss ways forward and how to build a socal forum, it is not THE social forum itself. But the more people we can get to it the more we can achieve together.

Let's start building the alternative!

I am maintaining a website to track the development of the various social fora around the UK.

I have added the details of the email list to the links page and will be following this new development closely :o)

If anyone has any news about further developments of this or any other Social Forum in the UK, then feel free to post it to the Samizdat message boards.
