Demonstrators run over near WTO HQ

Two cars drove full speed at isolated demonstrators that were ahead of the demo to block the road for the demo that was 30 meters behind. A first black car drove into one demonstrator and accelerated once he was on the bonnet...the second car tried a similar tactic (to kill a demonstrator ?) on another person and injured this person's hips.

In front of the World Trade Organization, a third car would have loved to do the same but the blond driver could be calm down (photo) by demonstrators who explained to her that it was illegal to run over people, even G8 demonstrators.

No Coincidence

the same thing happened at the IMF protests in Prague at two key moments, when protestors had the upper hand and riot cops were stretched. on both occasions the individuals hit were lucky to survive and the drivers sped off.
the cars numberplates were unreadable.
i don't think it can always be explained as 'roadrage' or fear, as the cars needn't have continued up the road on seeing protestors sat in it, and indeed they were the only vehicles to have come within 200-400 yards of what was happening
the two incidents i saw in prague were attempted murder and i presume the drivers didn't just happen to be there.
the hundreds i spoke to who saw it all reached the same conclusion
