I'm not trying to excuse Syria's occupation of Lebanon with this, and the Syrians are not exactly nice people, but as I think you're trying to point out the hypocrisy in going on about Palestine/Israel but not Lebanon/Syria, I'm pointing out some extra hypocrisy on the other side. My dad was in the Israeli army in 1982, and he says that when they went into Lebanon, the Lebanese welcomed them at first. He says that the women in the fields used to run out and give them flowers and olives. He says they were seen as liberators, to sort out the Palestinians and Syrians ruining the country.
