Israel and Palestine: London meeting 8 June

JSG | 27.05.2003 15:47

36 years of Occupation: 36 years too long

June 5th will mark 36 YEARS of Israel’s illegal occupation of the West Bank and Gaza, home to 3 million Palestinians.

This is a brutal occupation. Its currency entails the theft of land and of water, the deaths of thousands of Palestinians and hundreds of Israelis and the destruction of property and infrastructure. It has created enmity between Palestinians and Israelis and Muslims and Jews, is destroying both economies, and has left poverty and despair in its wake.

As a contribution to our opposition to the occupation, JustPeaceUK and Jews For Justice For Palestinians invite you to a meeting with Israeli and Palestinian speakers and a new film about the struggles of children in Hebron to get an education.
