HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA!

The Americans, especially but not just their government, want war scenarios that are like a Hollywood film, preferably of the kind starring Bruce Willis. That is probably why the Americans tried to suppress the TV images of the other US POWs the Iraqis captured, because many of them were obviously terrified and hence not ideal Hollywood-type material. The Americans love reality TV, but a scared POW telling his Iraqi captors that "I just fix broke stuff" was perhaps a little too real for them.
