With Indymedia UK moving over to a new codebase in the near future, the time is ripe for more regional IMCs to join the network...
Westcountry IMC proposed
Along with the Indymedia UK moving over to a new improved codebase, a number of new regional IMCs are also coming online.
Amoung the new regional IMCs may be 'Westcountry IMC' covering Cornwall, Devon, Dorset and Somerset etc.
The new IMC has been proposed in the last couple of days and is currently underconsideration. If there are no objections there new site will be approved within the next two weeks.
If you would like to get involved, please subscribe to the new Westcountry IMC mailing list (which should be available in within a couple of days).
Anyone in the area may join the collective and we look forward to hearing from you.
If all goes well, we are planning a launch party and video screening, date and venue to be announced.
