Shock and Awe or Shekhinah. Same thing.
This explanation of the Iraqi oil grab won't be copied/pasted. The reaction to the tone is predictable.
Just follow the link. Cosider.

FYI (in regard to this supposed pipeline)

Oh, there USED to be a pipeline from Mosul to Haifa. There is still the route which it followed, and scattered through desert areas maybe even the remains of pumping stations. But no pipeline as such.
See, while you might use refined oil to protect metal, crude oil from most places is very corrosive (acid) and the pipes need to be replaced constantly. It's why oil tankers are so short lived. And these are not countries where pumping machinery can be left unattended and still be there (hell, even HERE after a couple years somebody would figure out how to make off with what's salable).
So there is no pipeline left. Honest. The entire thing would need to be rebuilt from scratch except I guess for resurveying the route. Only there's a problem with that too. I don't know about in Jordan or Iraq, but when this pipeline was originally built it went through open areas. Now they have been built up big time. It's one kind of cost to dig up and replace pipe through a field, quite another when it's now a city there.
