Palestine - Shebab Daiyer (Lost Youth) – A hard-hitting film made by International activists depicting what life is like under Israeli occupation. Interesting and moving, personal accounts give tenderness to an otherwise stark reality. Followed by Question and Answer session with the film-makers.

Alternative British Petroleum – A short film made outside the Royal Festival Hall last month at British Petroleum’s (BP) annual conference. Inside Shareholders and delegates debate the health of their company, whilst outside an alternative AGM is held, with voices from Colombia and activists in West Papua and Turkey. Theatre, poetry and songs make for a lively ten-minute viewing.

Mayday - ‘Weapons of mass construction’ – Footage taken at the Mayday protests in London, where Arms trade, Oil and Foreign policy were the desired targets. Police however removed the right to protest and again the mainstream media ignored the issues involved, citing only that it was peaceful and that police tactics worked in preventing disorder.

Faslane – ‘The really Big Blockade’. – Protesters managed to blockade the nuclear submarine base for almost an entire day, in the most successful actions taken on the base. Mass locking on and arrests were made in an action which was entirely omitted from the mainstream news.

Website Workshop – www.Indymedia.org.uk - A practical guide on how to use the website and see the newly designed site to be launched soon.
