Yeah, well I've got to agree, I thought the 'zionazi' headlines were offensive too. If google want to remove indymedia from their news sources because of that then so be it. An ISM volunteer on this site said he disagreed with the use of the term too.

One of the disadvantages of open publishing is that anyone can come along and post offensive comments, as you LGF people do regularly. On the other hand it is a valuable source for news that isn't controlled by a vested interest.

For what it's worth, the BBC is going to be copying the indymedia format, so that is a vindication of sorts.

The reality is that Rachael Corrie was not a peace activist. She wanted victory for the Sudeten Arabs and hence the destruction of Israel.

The "Peace" movement contains many "useful idiots" who genuinely believe that pacifism is a legitimate method by which conflict can be solved at all levels. However, there are many individuals, governments and NGOs who are anti-American, anti-Jewish, anti-Western and/or anti-Modernists. These people, the "Sinister", would use military power, conventional or guerilla method, against the liberal democratic West if, for one second, they thought they could win (except for Al-Qaeda, Hizb'Allah, H.A.M.A.S etc, who are simply deluded and evidently suicidal). They realise that the cannot win a military conflict against the West so they appeal to and hijack the emotions of the "useful idiot" peace-activist and use them as proxy to fight their battles. The West has always been more democratic, its governments and military subject to higher levels of civilian audit, consent and objective dissent than any of its enemies. This is what makes the West so militarily superior - not a desire to kill more people than their opponents. If the dissent becomes subjective, bias and emotionally driven then the West may lose. The US-haters at Indymedia and the "Bolshevik Broadcasting Committee" understand this all too well. They've been white-anting for years now in order to create as many silly people as possible.

Ok. Here is some news for you. The Muslim world (the Arabs in particular) have been at war with the West for over 25 years now. It has been a "phoney" war but it is still a war. The fact is that they are so militarily piss-weak that they cannot fight a conventional battle against us. Do not doubt for one second that if they acquire nuclear weapons they will use it if given the opportunity.

The Germans are western but they were not democratic and therefore not accountable in the sense that the American and British forces are. The Russians are certainly not Western, their culture is dominated by beauracratic despotism.
