The greek social forum is not merely a 'space'for antiglobal action. In fact, it is the vehicle for the survival of the 'left coalition', a reformist, ex-eurocommunist party. Since its foundation, this party has done the dirty job in favour of the socialdemocrats e.g. in the trade unions, the municipalities etc where it continuously supported the party in office -PASOK- claiming that by this way it blockades the Right. There are some few antiglobal initiatives in Greece much more radical and anticapitalist having played an important role in the greek movement.
