SARS made in America?

SARS propably genetic manipulated Corana virusses and helpful in America's war on terrorism

At the beginning of 2003 In full 'war on terrorism' the CIA launched a campaign to recruit chinese spies for CIA ( http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/2724333.stm)
Large notices declaring "Happy New Year" in Chinese characters have been placed in newspapers and magazines in American cities with big Chinese communities : The advert goes on to ask readers to help the CIA "stay true to our global focus" by joining the spy network. "Just as the Year of the [Goat] is centred on a strong and clear motivation for peace, harmony and tranquillity during challenging times, we are equally intent on our mission to safeguard America and its people.

Could genetic engineering have contributed inadvertently to creating the SARS virus?
The growing global epidemic of Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) has been pinned down to a Corona virus. The disease has spread rapidly from its first appearance in China and impacted heavily on Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand and Toronto, Canada. The disease agent was identified as a Corona virus with a unique RNA sequence not directly related to known human and animal viruses (1)
None of the early reports have acknowledged the large body of reports on the genetic manipulation of Corona viruses in the laboratory nor have they considered the possibility that the unique virus arose as a laboratory accident or purposeful experiment. I have searched out a number of studies on the genetic manipulation of Corona viruses and describe a few such studies below. Corona virus from a disease of pigs that produces symptoms similar to SARS has been manipulated to create a viral vector to propagate foreign genes (2). The Corona virus coat protein genes have been manipulated to alter the tropism (species attacked by the virus) of the virus (3). The gene for the pig corona virus coat protein (controlling viral tropism) was propagated in tobacco plants (4).
Prodigene, a company specializing in production of crop biopharmaceuticals in College Station, Texas, also produced an edible vaccine for swine corona virus and information on whether or not that product was the one being field tested in a disastrous field test has been deemed confidential information.  http://www8.techmall.com/techdocs/TS000215-6.html
I've done some basic research and found that companies in the US like Prodigene are doing atrocious experiments with various plants and animals and all of these are generating extremely volatile toxins and diseases. They have been identified as the perpretrators of the biological 'Three Mile Island' due to failed experiments in the US Corn Belt. What's truly frightening is that Prodigene is connected with the Bush Administration.

extent of SARS symptoms

06.05.2003 20:32

Symptoms of SARS would appear to be similar to inhalation anthrax. The government is being secretive about the true virality and affliction of SARS, with sketchy reports of lung tissue destruction, lungs putrify, turning to slush or filling with water resulting in respiratory failure. The treatment of SARS with steroids also indicates that the SARS virus may trigger or alter human cell behaviour, resulting in autoimmune type body cell response to the SARS virus. Where our bodies defence cells/immune system begin to attack and kill off our own harmless body cells, reulting in lung tissue destruction etc. In the C4 documentary a hong kong chinese SARS victim was reported to be suffering from kidney failure, but this was not covered in detail, so we the general public would not recognise SARS if we had it already. It appears our own governments like the Chinese government are keeping the extent of SARS symptoms/signs under wraps as they don't want to acknowledge that thousands of their citizens have already been exposed to SARS.

Disinformation (about coronavirus)

07.05.2003 12:02

Coronavirus is not a disease of pigs. Or rather, not SPECIFICALLY a disease of pigs. This is a virus "family" and almost all mammals have a specific form of coronavirus for which they are the host. Swine coronavirus attacks pigs, canine coronavirus dogs, feline coronavirus cats, etc.

The ODD thing, the surprise is NOT that there should be a deadly form of human coronavirus but that we had not seen this happen before. Your dog probably gets an annual shot against canine coronavirus because there ARE periodic outbreaks of a deadly form. Same with your cat, and the article poster describes work against swine coronavirus because that too can be deadly.

But up to now, in humans coronavirus only seemed to be causing outbreaks of a very mild disease accounting for about 15% of what we tend to call "the common cold" (viruses of the adenovirus family cause most "colds"). In other words, for most other animals the coronavirus DOES have periodic deadly outbreaks. I have seen in some books on viruses lamment that (human) coronavirus was NOT being adequately studied because of the apparent lack of a dangerous form --- too hard to get funding for what SEEMS not a serious threat and nobody would buy a vaccine against the "common cold" that failed 85% of the time (remember, most colds are NOT caused by coronavirus). In other words, that we were being too trusting and SHOULD expect outbreaks a deadly form to be possible based on how members of this virus family affect other animals.
