MAYDAY AND REPRESSION

about may day in london

is someone really satisfied about last may day demostration in london?
i think it has been a complete disaster. cops everywhere and no freedom to express ourself. it is not possible to demostrate in this condition. we are not criminals and we need the public opinion understands it. one think i would like to know. was the march authorised? which was the authorised route?
i don't know very well what to say but i think this the last time i went to a demostration in london. i cannot accept to be treated as a terrorist! and i don't want to particepate to such bad organised marches. look at the other countries in europe and in the rest of the world and look how many people other countries are able to aggregate! in london too much alcool, not ideas, not even a bit of militant behaviour!
sorry, if you really want this kind of demostrations, keep them for yourself.
ciao
a.

Their were two actions in London, one was a trade union march organised by TUC, etc. in collaboration with the state. The other was authorised by the people, and targeted the those who chose facilitate capitalist, state and government oppression of 'Free People.'

If you went to Our May Day then and you surprised about what happened (i.e. police response) then think about this. Remember when people demonstrated against war with Iraq and common comment was "oh you wouldn't be able to that Iraq" i.e. demonstrate against the state without their permission. Well, you can't do that here either, demonstrate against the state that is, may day only proves the fact.

And if you wanted militancy, then you bring petrol bombs next time! but I doubt you will, cause it sounds like you want it all handed to you on plate. Did you go a May Day organising meeting? did you make a placard or banner? did you bring bring a flag? balloons? enthusiasm? doubt it.

If mayday was a failure, it was a failure of all of
us to organise decent autonomous stuff.

Personally, I'm glad I went, it was fun, except for getting
cordoned at the end. Shame we were so outnumbered by police,
but it wasn't a complete failure.
