A friend of mine who got caught in the evening cordon at the Trafalgar Square end of the Strand, says that at around 8pm, 400 people got out of the cordon & tried to storm the Shell building on the Strand, after which they were re-cordoned.

I haven't seen any other reports of this - on the IMC timeline or elsewhere. Did anyone out there witness this?
