Subject: URGENT: Another ISM Activist Detained by the IOF

Rafah,Gaza
May 1, 2003

During the Israeli army incursion into Rafah last night, in the early
morning hours of May 1, 2003, one of our activists was taken out of a
home that she was staying in by the IDF.

At this time, more than 15 hours later, no-one is sure of where she is
and no-one has seen her to verify her condition. Neither the British
Embassy, the ISM or Hamoked has been able to locate her.

We think they are trying to deport her to Egypt at this moment.

We know of no charges or any reason for her detention. Please contact
the numbers below to inquire about her condition, verify her location
and protest any attempt to deport her ILLEGALLY!!!
