hi there all -

i'm back after a bit of a holiday from cyberspace
!!!Indymedia!
life in a dome by the canal in oxford and stuff - you know very pleasant if you like that sort of thing.
Personally, give me manchester and VDU psychosis anyday!

anyway,
there's a supporting feature that can be used for the
smokey bears picnic
it's called grass roots
and i've entered the detail into Beyond TV -
The video can be seen at the following page there.

 http://www.beyondtv.org/pages/feature_page.php/40/

This shows the kind of supportive role that we plan to play
for campaigns and video groups.
ie. putting up video and linking it with relevant campaigns,
projects and events.

As you can see if you do visit the page mentioned above -
there's a "get involved" button
when people push that,
they are taken to the Events - and Projects
associated with the campaign -

One way BeyondTV could work effectively with Indymedia is
for Indymedia to link to a page such as the one above
when there is Video content. In this was users/ viewers
are encouraged to participate and are provided with contact details
to do so.

I've been putting in details of projects and events -
I'm interested in feedback for how to link this up with
protest.net as well -

and if anyone is interested in checking it out and giving
bug reports and the like then please go to the site
and try to enter real information -
and email comments to me at  mickfuzz@rocketmail.com

cheers
cya
mick
