Is Zionism a form of mental illness?

The writer points out similarities between schizophrenics, who justify crimes as authorised by god's voice, and Zionism, which appeals instead to an old book.
All the frightful ills and deaths in Palestine/Israel grow from Israel's seizure of the homes and fields of arabs.
They justify this, at root, by saying
"This is not the crime it appears. We are special people with a special right to do this. This we know because we have a sacred book which tells us God promised this to us."
To the rest of us, this is antiquated magical rubbish. There is no specialness. The book is just literature. The promise is non-existent. The right is void. The god is a hangover from the days when every tribe had its own aggressive, vengeful god to whom they were special, who made them promises, to whose power they appealed for military victory, and dominance over their neighbours.
If you Zionists could try to comprehend for just one moment that
THE REST OF US DON"T BELIEVE IN YOUR DIVINE PROMISE
then you would take the first step to seeing why we criticise, and why it is not anti-semitism.
After all, the mental health institutions are full of schizophrenics who hear god telling them of their special right to dominate (even murder) others.
Do we say to them
"We can see you honestly believe it is god you hear, so I suppose we must respect that, and let you kill whoever he tells you" ?
