that's the best piss-take i've read in ages.(it is a joke isn't it???)

i like the bit about 'the french have BETRAYED OUR SAFETY' and the idea of replacing it with a statue of ronald reagan..

You may as well send it back, your current administration
has removed most of the civil liberties fought so hard for by your forefathers and fellow citizens.

Perhaps you should replace it by a statue of some sort of
goose-stepping Robocop that would signify the police state
that you have allowed your administration to inflict on you.

Reminds me of Chaplin's film "The Immigrant"

This post reminds me of that hilarious scene in Charlie Chaplin's film "The Immigrant" (1917). A boatload of immigrants is passing the Statue of Liberty. The next scene shows the New York cops arresting everyone on the boat and tying them altogether with a rope--while Charlie ostentatiously looks mystified.
