"The Guardian" vs the "The Independent"

Newspaper bias

I would just like to say a public word of thanks to Robert Fisk for his excellent and courgaeous reporting in "The Independent" newspaper during the Iraq War. His articles have been essential reading and I believe that the circulation of the paper has been growing throughout the build up to this war. It exceeded 10% of the broadsheet market for the first time recently. He certainly gets my nomination for journalist of the year.

"The Guardian" has generally been up Blair's backside as usual--Seamus Milne and one or two other honourable exceptions notwithstanding.

We definitely need an IMC newspaper. It would be great to have a professionally formated downloadable pdf newspaper version of Indymedia to give out at anti-war demos and rallies. This would be a good way of building support for Indymedia. Even just a four page A4 version once a week containing the week's best fetaures and newswires would be an excellent start. I am always having to scribble down the Indymdeia URL on bits of paper for people I meet. A downloadable printed newspaper or bulletin would be a much better way of promoting Indymedia. Or does it already exist? Apologies if I have missed something.
