Mark Vallen, Artist and Founder of the Art For A Change website, has released a new Drawing titled, "Not Our Children, Not Their Children." The just completed pencil drawing is in memory of those innocent civilians who have died in the war against Iraq. The work was created as U.S. bombs began falling on that country, but the image could just as easily be about Afghanistan, Palestine, Israel, or even Sept. 11th. War is the scourge of humanity, and it's hoped that in some small way this artwork will help contribute to it's banishment.

"Not Our Children, Not Their Children" is available on the Art For A Change website as a high resolution 300 dpi Flyer. The image fits on a standard sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 paper. Download the high resolution PDF artwork and print it on your home computer's printer. The PDF document is located at:

 http://www.art-for-a-change.com/content/children.PDF

The file will take around 5 minutes to download depending on the speed of your modem. This artwork is being made available for free to the international community as a contribution towards world peace (please refrain from printing this work for profit). This image was first released as a Flyer at the April 13th antiwar march and rally on Hollywood Blvd.

Soulless

Just took a minute to look over Vallen's art and I really can't say anything positive about it. It's bland and soulless, straight middle-of-the-road tripe. There's just nothing there.
