Bit of a rant on Dubya's plans for hegemony in relation to his probable plans for bombing here, there and everywhere in the future.

Firstly, has anyone noticed that the Weapons of Mass Destruction supposedly all over Iraq a few months ago are now conspicuous in their absence of mention in the news? Suddenly, this has all along been about 'liberating' the Iraqis and nothing else. All hail Saviour Dubya (oh, yeah, and the Blair one as well)

Meanwhile, Dubya has big plans for the rest of the world that dares to have a slightly different ideology to that of the USA government. Already there are US forces in the Philippines and Djibouti to name but two - all part of the scheme to be the 'world's policeman'. It is blatantly obvious now how little the US thinks of the UN, since surely this is their role? No, why bother letting those pesky, meddling countries in Europe, Asia and Africa have any say in the matter, when clearly Washington has the whole planet sorted....

It won't make any difference what excuse they use for 'military intervention'... there will always be WoMD, terrorist sponsors, terrorist harbourers, evil, unelected dictators etc. that only the US can save the world from. It's just a pity they can't start with themselves...

If we’re hailing saviours, there’s also the Ozzzie no-one ever mentions. Poor bloke, lends a hand and gets forgotten. Is he just tacked on so they can call it a coalition rather than gung-ho duo?

There are questions as to whether it’s worth marching against the war on Saturday now that it’s practically over. Instead of it being a stop-the-war rally, it should be a IT SHOULD NEVER HAVE HAPPENED & MUST NOT HAPPEN AGAIN demonstration. Bush, Blair & that other bloke dropped cluster bombs on the Iraqis for Saddam’s non-compliance, for his stockpiles of non-existant WMDs. We should not let them brush that under the carpet and shift the focus onto so-called liberation (freedom to eat McD’s, drink coke, watch trash movies whipdeedoo). We should not let them think they got away with it so they can carry on with their greedy, megalomaniacal, dodgy agenda.

Or to put it more succinctly: I agree.
