Stop War -- Budget

ram | 09.04.2003 20:04

At worst this is a pointer to a press release of the STWC
At best it is a humble criticism of a movement increasingly led in the wrong directions.

Anyone noticed this press release of the Stop The War Coalition?

Anyone from STWC organisational side browsing through here?

At a sad time when our 'leaders' and majority of 'people' are at a totally wrong world domination/policing move should we, the 'minority' too get confused by their bollocks?
Should we send the wrong message out to the world out there?

As clearly seen all over the place, it is widely recognised that there is a global movement that has risen up due to the desperate and disgusting threat from due to the militarism of the 'west'.

To keep this short let me ask some questions based on the press release.

> Pay for perhaps 3,000 badly needed school buildings around the UK.

Why?! to make more cadets and feed the army...to help the brainwashing more.?!

> Provide about £300 each for the education of every child of school age in the country

Are you so dumb that you cannot think of few hundred desrving *global* causes?!

There are children dying because the gastric juices ate their intestine's interiors and our children are taught militarism all the way from the barbaric ancestors to even more babaric well calculating spin doctors and 'hawks'?!!

With a total distaste to financil mumbo jumbo let me quickly point out that the chancellor invested 3 Bn very wisely and the 'toe poked' in Umm Quasar and the Ramallah oil fields is already promising to deliver a hundred times more in record times. This is neglecting P&0, BBN etc. aside.

You will find that there is more money than another Saudi in the making here.... except with more control and potentially a more modern acceptable face to it.

Bollocks to any long term planning of STWC and other 'western peace movement cronies'. Why not stick to negotiating with the ***s how to be herded around on a Saturday and hope it will be sunny on that day.

There are other countries where the momentum of the 'peace movement' could be handed over to. All we can and (in one disgusted peacelover's opinion) should do is to state clearly that we are powerless against the immensely organised threats (violent ***s and lawless law)and blackmails (this troops and their family bullshit as if other more human families do not exist!!!) .

Swallow this bitter pill if you are an inherently racist subject of the *****.
People say Tibet was invaded by China..China did this and that... even their protestors and the country has more credibility than us. We could look up to them. The people opposing the tanks and the tanks crushing them to death might traumatise some but is it not effective truthful protestation for things one believes in?
If we do not believe that we are inferior we should maintain silence or rally behind Blair's theory that 'our way of life
(is superior)'.

There are many other nations and continents out there inceasingly threatened by 'our way of life' excluding us.
Our way of life being the selfish luxury of illgotten wealth like the Baath party's -- only difference is we have been at it in the UK for the past 500 years and there are not enough looters when the day might arrive for us.
'Because at worst we are all happy in a welfare state.'

Let the truth be told. 3 Bn (apparently) spent on the attack on Iraq. But do you kow ow much was spent on three submarines that have a payload of WMD to wipe out the planet?!!!!

A quiet, timely backhander?

Ceefax mentioned in passing that the Petroleum Revenue Tax (PRT) was being repealed from January 1st. Intrigued, I looked it up.

The Inland Revenue website describes the PRT as designed:

"to tax a high proportion of the economic rent (super-profits) from the North Sea"

So there you have it. A tax on oil super-profits is being repealed, while the media focuses on the cost of booze & fags. (Cigarette & Alcohol duty was frozen in line with inflation, incidently).

Wrong way go back

The presumption that any of the current plans for peace and humanity could be born from present thinking and be sucessful is as stupid as the present plans for peace.

Ram is right, but then right left what does it matter?,when he drifts from one point to another talking about and around present thinking it is obvious that his thouhgts are not the norm. Not the present plan and hard for us all to understand, but if your persistant, it will dawn on you, you were brainwashed. Thats right!, years of school sitting infront of the box it led you to believe one thing and if you now refute that one thing your only tools of repair are from the same things you learnt, so your going in circles, welcome back! We were here before, nothings changed and the fight is on to secure the status quo.
Ram, you mentioned WMD enough to wipe out the planet, take it one step further, just for fun, would the planet be destroyed? No... just life! Take it further still, clouds of steam, a planet in ruin volcano's lava flows millions of years pass and the water vapour settles once more to earth, its covered in sea now. Sound familier, nice to hear from you again mate, what has it been? Four billion years!

Sorry about my brainwashing

10.04.2003 02:02

Please do not think I imply that am free from brainwashing.

But my point stands. This western centric protests will not go anywhere. Its got to be global thinking and local action towards it.

Yes true. I was wrong about the WMD on the Trident submarines. They would probably not wipe out all of the planet's life too. But just about.
This is no doomday theory but realistic peace movements exist but not in this land of the cursed.

All I am saying is lets backtrack a few hundred years in some senses but leap forward however number of years we can imagine into a bold new future.

We in the UK are in the longest running police state and going in a circle. True.

But look at India , South Africa etc.. they almost came out of the traps and it is us who hold them back.

Right way go forward

I've seen it all before I'm just watching Seinfelt for comfort.

Ram, serious mate! go as far back as you like, it's all a replay, go into the future and you only to come back here. it's a merry go round. We are looking for a chance to get off, to stop the cycle, prevent the end and avert the next begining, a chance to see a new future.
What Simon said about ultimate destruction and the possibility that the world just does it all again, until mankind destroys everything again, is as much of a possibility that you fear (WMD).He said the same four billion years ago, obviously you did'nt listen.
Remember that all you know about everything is all you ever learnt, maybe it's all tainted, not completly designed by time, evolved, not through mans intent, but because it profits the few who believe it,those in power... and its they who carry it on through the generations. based upon the foundations that are exploited and promoted by those who wish to carry it on, there's wealth and power behind it all, so what are you exchanging?.
It's the way, that's the path they choose, because of the lack of alternatives and no real imidiate risk:Global warming, wars etc.
For the moment we need oil we need industralization we need tricle down to flow because the nations workforce is slow and old and getting older, how are we to secure resorces in the future without an army of youth to sacrifice today?, our populations are dwinderling our religious following at its lowest ebb, although our weopons say we are strong it's exported strengths, not home grown support, those who remain behind are too weary even to fight a third of our number.
Facts are, those who prepare, may stand the first wave of death, those who pretend everything is going great will drown first.
Those who survive must remember the mistakes of the past or the suvivers will only repeat history and agian hope that god will save them.
So leave it be, it will still be there when you get back, work out a profit and loss, by comparrison we have far more to loose than we stand to win.Find the alternative.

All I know

10.04.2003 12:52

Industrialisation? Oil? This has not reached most of the planet yet. And it is clear (even before it started off to the knowledgeable ones) this 'way of life is doomed towards failure'.

What I know vcery well is what M.K.Gandhi answered to the pigmedia about sixty years ago when inquired .so, (naked fakir) how will your free India feed itself -- through which model (we taught you)?'
M.K.Gandhi : If India was to follow the British example whereby it (UK) needed 1/4th of the globe for its consumption t exist ...then we will need 4 globes atleast!'
Gandhi never got his free India but did a lot of work towards establishing everlasting concepts of what we might term micro economies.

Is it not that all this talk of petroDollars vs. petroEuros all about macro economies. Is ti not that macro economies is what Blair is trying to imply as 'our way of life'?

As for circlar paths, do you realise that the radius is so great that our minor existence is almost linear along its periphery?

Never before have we had two murderous regimes control modern media so effectively and empty almost all of its old stock of weaponary to rearm with more dangerous ones.

Think again. Fall of the west has to happen. Is it through you me or someone else ..I do not know.
But atleast we could not participate it even as a 'protestor'.

Live outside of it babaric ways.
