A group of school students in London have organised a meeting for students all over London (and elsewhere would be welcome) to come together and plan future action against war, as well as set up a co-ordinated network of school activists in the capital.

Even if the current war in Iraq is over, the US and quite likely UK are putting Syria, Iran, North Korea and others into their sites and we need to be ready to resist.

One potential aim of this meeting is to follow-up on the massively successful student walk-outs with a student strike on Mayday, May 1st – the annual celebration of resistance where hundreds of thousands take to the streets worldwide.

We will be meeting at 1pm on Houghton St, WC2 near Holborn and Temple tubes (see map)

Please spread this callout widely, by forwarding it to your friends or printing it out and distributing at anti-war demos, schools and local Stop the War Coalition meetings.

Also you can email us on  schoolaction@london.com and after the meeting our egroup and web discussion forums will be up-and-running.
