how the rich rip us all off

Not directly relevant to anti-war, but if you've ever wanted a clear and precise answer to 'where does all the money go?' this site has it all:

The group are called the Association for Accountancy and Business Affairs, which may sound like a right-wing think-tank but is actually a group of economists, accountants and auditors exposing how the economic world really works.

They're also part of the growing global Tax Justice Network.

Independent?

I've no idea whether or not they will be useful, but they are hardly independent. They all seem to be fully paid up members of the Labour Party (although I may be being unfair on a couple of them).

No idea whether some of them are Labour Party members. Does it matter? The info is accurate.

Incidentally I got the link from War on Want, who themselves have produced a very informative and powerful briefing on where the money goes, link here:

Paul Edwards ... how independent are you? Like many comments posted in response to articles featured on Indymedia, yours look like they are intended to distract people from the scent of what is a good story.
The following article is written with specific reference to the UK - but is of relevance to all economies in the world, as the world economy hurtles onwards upon the financial capitalist rollercoaster on which the cabin-fever of conventional economist thought dictates it's blind headcharge logic of neoliberalism and it's associated consequences. It suggests simply: putting the brakes on capitalist intensification by reversing the privatisation of credit - the printing of interest-free public money.
