It is an account of the My Lai massacre during the Vietnam "war" it which US troops slaughtered an entire village of men women children and BABIES !

The U.S. have been busy massacring people much more recently than that (just in case you mention My Lai to someone who then turns round and says "Yeah, but that was thirty years ago mate").

for an account of the massacre of hundreds of suspected taliban members at Qala-i-Janghi prison fortress, Afghanistan in late 2001. The main killing was done by the friendly neighbourhood Northern Alliance, but the U.S. (and British)army made sure they weren't alone.
