With Bush and Blair in Belfast next week it is VERY important that as many people as possible get over there as soon as possible.
Flights are pretty cheep from most uk airports, the ferry is about the same price.
If we are able to mobilise to Genoa or Seattle we should be able to mobilise a few hundred miles to Northern Ireland.
It's only across the way!

I suspect that a few people are still cautious of going over because of "the troubles". Well, Belfast is (and always has been) a very welcoming place for visitors, people will go out of their way to make you feel welcome.
Belfast had a big anti-war demo with around 30 thousand people attending. That's pretty good going for such a small city!

If you can't make it for Monday or Tuesday, I believe that Blair will be in the country until Thursday (unconfirmed). Check the newswires for updates nearer the time.

When Clinton suddenly visited Belfast a few years ago they held a big rally at the city hall for him. If Bush has the balls to do something similar it could be the only chance that anyone in Europe gets to shout that bastard down face to face.
Think about it. That fucker barely leaves his country, and now he is turning up in our backyard, right at the peak of his unpopularity. We may not have another chance.

If you do decide to go, do it sooner rather than later. My guess is that the police will turn "suspicious" people away nearer the time.
There are numerous buses etc organised from Dublin, Enniskillen and the rest of Ireland so it should be big.
