US President George Bush is to visit Northern Ireland next week to hold talks over the political process and the war in Iraq.
The White House confirmed on Friday that the American leader would be in the province to hold talks with UK prime minister Tony Blair.
The two leaders will also discuss the unrest in the Middle East, said a spokesman.
This will be President Bush's first visit to Northern Ireland.
Reports from the US said it would be a two-day visit.
It is understood President Bush will arrive in Northern Ireland on Monday.
The talks will be held near Belfast.

she would be good as the Charlady - she looks the Ealing Studio part (and probably better than being anti-war) though Dudya won't know what a charlady is if Old Turncoat can get beyond the men in black shades with hands fumbling left breasts.
And Mandy Mandelson would be good pros....sorry, substitute for Mo if she changes her mind again a la ClareShort. Unless of course Mandy gets oogle-eyed at yank glorious stature and forgets everything else.

The real alarming matter is being neglected here.
I believe that the easily accepted military presence on the streets of Belfast is something they need.
Do they still fear potential instant protest from the bottom of the hearts?
Are there any humnas left in this place?
