Bring Down Blair By Freepost-a how to guide

REVENGE MURDERED IRAQI CHILDREN – HELP BANKRUPT NEW LABOUR

Ten a Day Will Blow Labour Away

We all feel so frustratingly helpless seeing our Government prosecute
this heartless and hateful war. "What can we do?" we cry. Well, here
is something WE CAN DO TO HIT BACK at the party which toadies to
America, damages the United Nations, and kills Iraqi children.

The weapon we can use with deadly effect is simply: FREEPOST. Every
time the owner of Freepost address receives a letter it costs them
19.5p. 1,000 received costs £195; 1,000,000 costs £195,000; 10,000,000
costs almost £2 million.

Just one fifth of those on the last London anti-war march = 100,000
people. If every one of those sent 100 Freepost envelopes to New
Labour, that would hit them for a couple of million.. But there is no
need to stop there. If we can get as many supporters as possible
(500,000?) to send just 10 envelopes a day, every day, for "as long as
it takes" (to quote Tony Blair) we will bust New Labour before they
and their US masters bust Baghdad.

The Labour Party is already heavily in debt – to the tune of £millions
- and dependent on its bankers. An ongoing, unstoppable cost like this
would force the bankers to pull the plug – and Millbank House would be
closed down!

If the owner of a Freepost address surrenders the licence, then the
Royal Mail treats any new mail to that address as unpaid postage –
which costs the recipient twice as much. So they cannot turn off the
flow!

We now have it in our hands to close down the Labour Party and
non-violently revenge those Iraqi children with a minimum cost and
effort to ourselves.

What a fantastic victory for People Power that will be!

Everyone can take part – children, the housebound, the busiest of
people – everyone.

If 100,000 people send 10 Freeposts per day, that is one million
envelopes a day at a cost of £6,000,000 per month.

New Labour will die under an avalanche of paper and a mountain of
debt.

Here are New Labour Freepost Addresses:

England: The Labour Party, FREEPOST LON10417, London SW1P 4UT

Wales: Wales Labour Party, FREEPOST CF2091, Cardiff, CF10 1YZ

Scotland: Scottish Labour Party, FREEPOST GW4863, Glasgow, G2 4BR

A Guide:

Just write one of the addresses above, over 4 lines, on an envelope,
seal it, and post (in bulk).

Do not write an anti-war slogan on the envelope, front or back, but it
is good to put one on a slip of paper inside the envelope.(make them
open it).

Using a computer will considerably speed up the addressing of the
envelopes.

You can buy small brown envelopes in bulk very cheaply.

Please send out your first 100 as soon as possible, then settle down
to 10 every day "for as long as it takes."

THIS is our Bunker Buster Bomb. Keep using it .

other parties?

Do other political parties also have these
Freepost addresses? If so, does anyone
have them?

Please publish here if you do.

Also, do they have to pay extra for heavy items?
Let's send them all our useless heavy junk etc.

Let's widen it to other parties, and fuck
over all the politicians.

If for every 10 we send to New Labour, we
send at least one to Tories, LibDem, BNP etc...

:)

Problem though

05.04.2003 10:06

Good idea but there is a snag for those intending to mail dogshit - there are more politicians than dogshit and the latter is more useful decorating pavements than the former decorating parliament...

And don't forget to send envelopes to the Liberal Democrats. After Kennedy's recent performance, they would deserve some shit of some sort.

A great idea, but...

05.04.2003 11:14

It won't be very effective if its only done by the people who read this. we need to get this out in the open and seen by as many people as possible- fliers, pamphlets, graffiti, whatever...

papercuts

will this work?

05.04.2003 11:17

Question

08.04.2003 09:52

sounds like a good plan, but one of my friends posed this question to me "couldn't this backfire? I mean if the costs are up due to something like this..then won't they just raise taxes on something else or find a way to fuck people out of their hard earned money to cover the costs thru other government channels? school me!" let me know...

raise taxes

08.04.2003 14:34

They can't raise taxes to cover the expense
because it's the expenses of a particular
party and they aren't allowed to take money
from the "public purse" for that.
