We can announce our biggest push for council seats in the history of the party. Over 200 candidates have been declared.

For each region we are fielding the following numbers.

W Midlands [23] (5 last time – 1 each in B'ham, Stoke & Dudley; 2 in Sandwell)
E Midlands [11] (1 last time – by-election in Leic)
South West [17] (0 last time)
Mid South [6] (0 last time)
North West [44] (21 last time. Burn 13; Old 5; Wig 1; Southp 1; Liv 1)
North East [54] (9 last time. Gateshead 3; Sunderland 6)
Yorkshire [46] (7 last time. LS 1; BD 1; DN 1; Dews 4)

In addition we still are awaiting final declarations from Scotland. The deadline is not until Monday 7th April.

In addition, a number of Independant racists are standing on some areas and the Nazi Freedom Party (West Mids) and Nazi National Front.. BNP is standing over 200 candidates!
