Police and the Anti-War Protests

Paul | 01.04.2003 12:40

Please pass on any complaints about the Police in London

Jenny Jones is a Green Party member of the London Assembly. She liaises with the Metropolitan Police.

At a Police Authority meeting, Jenny Jones questioned the Commissioner of Police on the more dubious aspects of the policing of the demonstrations. He said that all the demos had been peaceful (!), but he asked Jenny Jones to forward all the complaints and promised to look into them. Please send all London complaints asap.

Send them to Jenny Jones c/o  carol.lewis@london.gov.uk

protestors on government policy email a [.gov.uk] domain.

Stop exploiting the plight of the Iraqis for your petty goals.

This is simply disgusting.

Elucidate please: that made little sense.

If you're saying what I think you're saying, don't worry about .gov.uk, it applies to anyone who works in local government, and certainly doesn't imply that complaints go directly to the government department for dirty tricks.

Mr Loveblanket

local government?

To negotiate another phoney complaint procedure when almost every protester already knows the exisiting avenues for such complaints and is at best a political stunt to capitalise on the current situation.

All [.gov.uk] domains signify government. The British government (local or central) and 'people' are responsible for the current spate of murders on innocent Iraqis.
Full Stop.

Currently there are atleast 60,000 murderous babarians roaming the deserts of Iraq from the UK fully sanctioned by the British government not for fun (even though many did sign up for fun). The government of Britain claims all this is important for Britain's security.
I am sure it is to do with paying the bills of governance.

A government collaborator helping to organise the 'peace' march highlights the phoney nature of the whole sad situation.

Working outside of government and state control as much as it would be expected in the case of any lowgrade repressive regimes is the only way to halt the british thuggery .
