Pedal for peace critical mass

critically massed | 31.03.2003 13:15

A bike tour of petrol stations - exposing links in the chain between oil companies and war in Iraq.

Meet at 4pm for a 4.30pm start, Tuesday April 1st, at Platt Fields, on Oxford Road opposite Brighton Grove

What is critical mass?
It is a group of cyclists exercising their right to use the road, together, on mass. It is a declaration of independence from the motor car, a demonstration of our right to be on the road. It is a reminder that our country's thirst for oil is fuelling conflict around the world and that there is an alternative.
Together we are stronger, safer and can't be ignored.
And remember travelling in the road on a bike is not an offence.
