I heard from a guy whos friend is writing an expose on the Lockerbie bombing that an unexplored part of the crash was that the bomb actually on the flight wasnt strong enough to to have actually caused the crash.

He has uncovered evidence (that may shortly also be featured on a special tv documentary) that there were black ops equipment (arms, explosives and the like) being stored in the hold being transported back to the states after black ops activities on mainland Europe and that it was actually these exploding (caused by the bombers explosives who may or not have been aware of the existence of other explosives on the flight) that brought down the flight.
