Saturday April 5th NORWICH Demonstrate Against The Anglo-American
Aggression,
Norwich 1.00pm Meet in Chapelfield Gardens.
Assemble in Chapelfield Gardens at noon if you want to take part in the
Theatre of War rehearsal. Drummers, musicians and puppeteers are sought
after, as normal.
Troops Out, Aid In - March Against The Looming Humanitarian Catastrophe.
1.7 million people in Basra are in serious danger from water deprivation and
disease. The anglo-american forces bombed the electricity generators,
depriving the city of the power to run water pumping stations and hospitals.
If the troops are not withdrawn and the situation remedied, tens of
thousands may die from dehydration and disease from drinking untreated
water. A further 16 million people are under threat from food and water
shortages throughout the rest of the country. Most people in war-zones die
after the conflict from malnutrition and illness, not from bombs, so we need
to pressure the prosecutors of this terrible war to withdraw now.
