Call To Action March 26, 2003:
TELL THE UN GENERAL ASSEMBLY TO STOP THE WAR ON IRAQ

Around the world one million people took to the streets to oppose this unjust and greed-driven war. It's time for the General Assembly of the United Nations, which represent s the voice of ALL the world's people, to unite and demand that the slaughter of innocent Iraqis cease
IMMEDIATELY.

In 1950, the UN agreed on a method to address impasses
in the Security Council. The "Uniting for Peace"
resolution Around the world 30 million people have
risen up, taking to the streets to oppose this
(resolution 377A) was designed to bring the entire
General Assembly together to address a "threat to
peace, breach of the peace, or act of aggression" when
the Security Council failed to reach agreement.

Please, urgently, write to your Ambassador at the
United Nations and ask that the Uniting for Peace
resolution be invoked to stop this war.

The voice of world opinion, our voice, has been
ignored. The cost? Hundreds of Iraqi civilians are
dead. Do not let our voice continue to be ignored.
Act Now.
