Frome has seen in the last 3 days, it's biggest ever demonstrations. Frome is a small market town on the border of Somerset and Wiltshire.

On Thursday, one person sat down in protest of the disgusting attacks on Iraq with a box with a picture of the yellow submarine, with the slogan 'We all live in a failed democracy'. 50 passers by sat down with him during the day. A vigil was held in the evening and about 100 people attended. Friday say the same person sitting down, and was joined by just over 65 people and a load of schoolchildren who walked out of class. 40 people marched from Frome Town centre to the local tax office to demonstrate against the £1bn of UK taxpayers money that was spent on Iraq's weapons, and to highlight that the money spent on war could be spent on education, healthcare... Another vigil was held in the evening with about the same number of people as the night before. Saturday saw the return of the now hugely popular yellow submarine sit down protest, which attracted well in excess of 100 people, who sat down, and a student's CND rally outside the library. The vigil was again held with even more people turning up. The yellow submarine will return next week, as will the vigils and even more ideas that will be implemented by the people of Frome. All the demonstration had the support of the police, local shopkeepers, and most of the public.
