Quick Net-Activism For Peace

mathaba | 26.03.2003 18:12

A simple and quick thing everyone can do to counter CNN, MSN and other war-mongering media, and support IndyMedia and Anti-War websites!

How do the Corporate War-Mongering Media win people's minds? Because they bombard us with their lies every time we open our Internet browser - it usually starts on some useless homepage like MSN.com.

Most people - 99% of internet users! - NEVER bother to change their start page, are afraid to do so, or do not know how to, or are too lazy to change it...

NOW we can do something about it!!! BUT it has to be done right, and this is why: The start page must be QUICK, USEFUL and SIMPLE - otherwise people will not like it and not keep it.

GOOGLE.COM is a good start page for the above reasons - BUT it does not put a link straight to IndyMedia and other Anti-War sites.

THIS IS WHERE WE COME IN!!!

Fed up with useless start page? Want to have ONE CLICK access to IndyMedia, Google Search, Your Email, from a better start page? One which you can ADD your favourite sites to?

JUST CLICK BELOW and try it! When it asks 'do you want to set your home page to http://mathaba.net/etc.... just say YES. If you are not sure, say NO, it will take you for a look, then you can come back and say YES if you like it - as I am sure you will.

With the new home page you will see links to Anti-War sites such as IndyMedia, Google Search box, ALL EMAILS and you can vote for sites to be added to it, all in one neat clean fast loading start page.

Spread the word, and when you DO set the start page - TELL US if you have any suggestions for improvement - click the relevant links on the page.

Already thousands of people are using this start page, and we intend to improve it according to suggestions as they come it, but always keeping the start page itself clean, simple, useful and fast.

AND SPREAD THE WORD!
