A Protester has climbed the 25M Hulme Arch on the main southern approach road to Manchester this morning and unfurled a large 'No War' banner.

A Protester has climbed the 25M Hulme Arch on the main southern approach road to Manchester this morning and unfurled a large 'No War' banner.

While making little difference to traffic delays (since road works caused the main backlog) the protester and banner are easily visible for a considerable distance around the area as the Arch is 25M high.

Several Police vans and police officers were in attendance.

The protest lifted my spirits and took some courage.

I think many people would benfit from seeing any photos you have.
