Roadside protest in Toxteth, Liverpool

A group of schoolkids spontaneously organised a roadside anti-war protest yesterday (25/03) in Toxteth, Liverpool. Carrying banners and "Beep for Peace" placards, they rallied a great deal of support from peak-hour motorists in spite of being informed by their Headmaster that they would be suspended if they held actions "in or out of school hours". The group are planning to organise more actions later in the week.

this is brilliant! it's great to see the kids refusing to take shit from the teachers, and it gives us some hope for the future.
