monday morning -raf valley, anglesey- At 9 am the runway was blockaded for 4 hours by seven people chained to the drag nets stopping hawk fighter jets from taking off+ training pilots for the war. the main gate of the base was also blockaded +chained shut by activists. the action was coordinated by the welsh group cymdeithas y cymod- the fellowship of reconciliation.there were no arrests.

this action forms one small part of ongoing massive civil disobendience in wales by people opposed to the war. In bangor on saturday 300 people gathered for the end of a 24 hour rally. this is simply one of many actions happening in our towns and cities and completely un reported by the national media. keep up the pressure!!!!
