I have not done this before so my apologies if its in the wrong place. I want evreyone to know how the bbc and the long arm ofd the law are lying to us. It was stated on the BBC and Manchester evening news web sites that no arrests occurred on the demo. i was there and i saw arrests taking place.

I observed as poeple were thrown into the back of meat wagons and visited the main police station where someone was being held, a yyoung wooman, for breach of the peace. If i understand correctly she was subsequently released without charge.

Another classic example of media lies and censorship of the strength of the protest movement.
