There will be more pictures from the video footage taken.

Copies have been made last night and placed with independant third parties. The footage shows the searches but more importantly the police failing to respond to multiple requests from passengers and the ARROW legal observer to speak to the senior officer as the coaches began to slowly move off. Up until that point it had all been pretty chill and quiet - even quite a few good natured police agreeing that the near 2 hour search time was 'unfortunate'.

When the legal observer opened the coach door to again repeat that he thought the polices actions were illegal, inform the police that not everyone was back onboard the coach and ask to speak to the seniour officer, police threw themselves at the door catching the side of his body and forced it shut with their full weight, walking along then running along keeping it shut as the coach pulled off.

NB The drivers were told they would be arrested if they deviated from the escourt convoy - we certainly were not just being followed as I understand someone was told when they called 999 - we were under illegal detention.

The fact that the police blocked the whole of the M4 motorway behind us to prevent people overtaking and seeing the signs placed in the windows "We are peace protestors" "We are being illegaly detained" "Help Cell The Media" etc just goes to show what was going on.

It must have looked to drivers on the other carriegeway that they had captured bin laden or a whole coach load of terrorists with the amount of escourt vehicles - they even had vehicles ahead of us waiting on bridges and part of the escourt tasked to block off exits to ensure the drivers of the coach could not leave the motorway.

Women were forced to pee into plastic containers in view of the police escourt after they refused to allow us to stop at service stations.

This is an important story, and there will be a lot more said on the issue over the coming days.

After police imposed a section 60 on the people that travelled from London to Fairford on three coaches. After spending hours waiting whilst the police thorougly searched, videoed, photographed and questioned every person on the coaches, and to top it up, after preventing us from joining the demo at Fairford base and forcing the buses to go back to London, police from three different countys decided to escort the coaches all the way back to London. This was yet another show of how democracy and the right to protest looks like in New Labour's Britain. Here there are a couple of photos from inside the coaches.
