The spontaneous protest that occured on oxford st is now dispursing. There was a police cordon separating the protest at Oxford street where a spontaneous protest grew to over a thousand people. Police have blocked off many streets in the vicinity, but at around 7:30 the protesters managed to dispurse and headed off towards Hyde park again. There was one arrest at the Oxford street protest of a man who burnt a US flag. A couple of scuffles broke out as the police both Met and City, took offence to the anti-war street party that materialised out of the energy of the protests. People who had escaped from a coach from Fairford at Shepards Bush, also ended up joining in the Oxfprd st protest.
