I'm scared.

there is a disturbing tactic that Conservatives use in the USA; and Anarcho-socialists are using it now too. It puzzles me. This tactic is basically smearing and utterly demonizing people who dare disagree with them. Like, can you say 'totalitarian ethos?'

The peace activism should have WORKED. When MPs start jumping ship becuas ethey agree with the people and not the government something is clearly up, eh? would you agree?

I utterly am devoted to anarchism. And it becomes obvious that divide and conquer is the tool that has been used to confuse the great majority of people...and this is what fanning the flames of class war does. I am utterly bummed out. I didn't vote for George W. Bush; my family never recovered economically from the Conservative presidet we hd before Bush and his dady, Ron Reagan. we have been on the edge since then , and it is as you may guess no fun at all.


I think socialism and communism are strangling anarchism...it seems pretty obvious. the whole insistince on social case divides us when we could be working together in a circus of irony that i am past pretending about and making excuses for. War between classes? How about the filthy poor if Iraq, under gunned out manned and undertrained, versus the filthy rich of america with all the cutting edge tech that no other nation posesses?

Sorry, but that is the upper class kicking the s$#t out of the lower class, if you'll pardon my French.

And when a group leaves no room for discussion or debate by utterly smearing and defaming all who might disagree--this is the intellectual bullying that is the seed of totalitarianism. What anarchist wants to contribute to that sort of mess?

the Octobrists were not anarchists. The Octobrists were regicidal. they were not anarchists. they almost immediately created a State more stultifying and devoid of freedom than Ivan the terrible or Tsar Nicholas would have dreamed of. I bet many Russian scholars would agree. for God's sake, correct me if I am wrong! It begins to seem that Communism and Socialism have become the opiate of the left. Look at the world and the gross imbalnce of Conservative power to wage war; does it not seem that the left have been opiated by something?

Class war is good for no one. I fear that dangerous delusions have taken all the starch out of what Anarchism could be.

I am tired of pretending that Bush is not as fascist as Mussoplini to please my fellow duped Americans. Andi am sick to retching of pretending that Hitler was not a socialist toplease my deluded pseudo anarchist friends. When you look around and all your punk buddies sort of look...uniformly...similar...that's conformity in action. Is anarchism conformist? tellme. I will run down to thestore and find a new philosphy. I am seriously on the verge of defecting. I have been devoted to anarchism my whole life but if it keeps on using the same tired rehtoric and tactics to "smash the state" that keeps getting stronger I'll give up. Thinking is still important; and anit-intellectial dogmatic non-thought is rampant in Americananarchism, sadly perhaps in deference to the president who is shrewd and sneakiy but no intellectual. Pinhead can't say 'nuclear' or 'subliminal' and that is too bothersomely bad.

So are English anarchists the same? I am sure that in Great Britain that SWocialism means something different than here, as you are part of the EU and well, if not for you there would BE no punk; if not for you there'd be no America.
