300 people gathered at BBC Radio Northampton at 5pm last night to protest at the start of war in Iraq. We occupied Abington Street blocking traffic in the road until the police moved in and cleared protesters, arresting 11 people.

Protests continued until 9.30pm outside Northampton police station when thoses arrested were released.
