Bristol students stop the city (afternoon action)

Todays action by mostly school and collage students has been a fantastic piece of work!
Kids as young as 12 or 13 have been really showing their objection and repulsion to the war.
There have been some arrests/lifts.
Just before the start of the M32 a boy of (at a guess) around 14 or 15 was trailed into a police van, another, possibly younger, was thrown (yes thrown) into the back of another van. I really think the police were pretty heavy handed throughout the protest, they've given the coming generation a real insite into how "democracy" works.
At the start of the second loop around the city the police really thought they were calling the shots. However, when the police decided to stop the demo at several points the front rows started a countdown from 10 to 1 and on 1 just pushed the police out of the way. Fantastic!
Around a dozen girls of about 14/15 sat in the middle of the road and one, while being filmed by the police shouted sarcasticly " oh am I gonna be on tv?" and threw various mock modelling poses for their cameras.
As for numbers, I reckon that 800-1000 is a fair figure for protesters (up until around 5pm) and there were at least 80 police on foot and a dozen support vehicles.
******************
It is obvious from the amount of posts here from around the country that school kids are very knowledgable about what is going on.
Someone mentioned earlier that if they keep this up there could be revolution in 7 years, I reckon less. Don't forget that a lot of these kids are very young (in protesting terms) and in their formative years. The state hasn't done a very good job today of convincing them that the police are fair or honest. Now that they have seen this first hand they will never forget it.
