Swansea Stop the City action

A peaceful Demo in Swansea lasted over an hour with a number of sit downs on roundabouts and major road junctions.

Over 200 people set out from Castle Square at 6pm, the march grew along the route as people joined in. Policing was unbelievably softly softly, with sit downs lasting up to 20 mins and police asking politely where we were headed next.

Around 7.30 the march returned to the City and ended wit a minutes silence for those who are suffering and dying in this war.

i think that the war is a good thing and i hope that people will begin to realize that. Tony Blair and George W Bush are only trying to save the iraq people as Saddam Hussain is a crazy man who starves his own people and trys to kill his own people by dropping a biological bomb on them to see the side affects. People who protest dont care about the war they just want attention. I support the war 100%.
