Organised by the Quakers, CND, Atomic Mirror and
other groups, the demonstration was a quiet gathering of
around 40 local people, including office workers, mothers
and children and pensioners. The organisers are hoping to
stage regular demonstrations to show that this small market
town is disgusted at the illegal and immoral war waged by
Blair and Bush.
