Protesters, Schoolkids, Workers in Liverpool

About 100 people gathered in Liverpool City centre - to protest about the bombing of Iraq, they recieved a positive response and also engaged passers by in the debates. The demo took place between 12 - 2 and just as it was folding down around 100 school girls come marching through the streets chanting 'No more War, No more war' the school girls still in school uniform joined the protest and continued chanting, within 15 minutes police arrived accompanied by a women in a yellow jacket with a clip board that read 'TRUENTS'. The Girls continued their protest and were joined by many other school kids.
We must make sure the girls and boys who are particiapting are supported when they come up against the school authorities.
Also today many workers protested throughout the city. I cycled past one health centre in Liverpool 8 and all the workers where standing on the pavement holding anti war placards.
Yesterday around 500 protesters, blocked main roads through out the city centre of Liverpool causing major daytime disruption to Liverpool Businesses.
And thousands of school kids walked out of school.
Today at 5pm protesters will gather again at the Church Street Poduim, in Liverpool City Centre.

We gotta stop this slaughter
