Over 20 anti-war protestors occupied the labour party south-east regional HQ in Reading at lunchtime in an event aiming to draw attention to the party's new found love of war.

Outraged that the government continues to ignore the will of the country, over 20 anti-war protestors occupied the Labour party south-east regional HQ in Reading at lunchtime in an event aiming to draw attention to the party's new found love of war.

Resistance was limited to one or two members of staff who attempted to block entry to the office, pushing protestors away, but the numbers and determination of the protestors forced them back and the offices were shut down for 20 minutes. Police were called and after a vote demonstrating the democracy the government seem to have forgotten, protestors agreed to leave.

Further protests were held outside and local press and television conducted interviews and took photos. A vigil is planned for this evening (6pm onwards outside the old town hall) and tomorrow evening.
